About Marissa Babcock

Born and raised in Faribault, I’ve always had deep roots in Rice County. Today, my husband Aaron and I are raising our three children in the country along with our dog, three cats, 11 chickens, and one very vocal rooster. Family and community are at the heart of everything I do — and that includes how I approach real estate.

I launched my real estate career in the fall of 2015 while on maternity leave with our second child. Before real estate, I spent nearly five years working in senior care, specializing in admissions, HR, and helping families through the difficult process of moving loved ones into assisted living and memory care. I know firsthand how overwhelming transitions can be, and I carry that same compassion and support into helping clients buy or sell their homes.

Since then, I’ve been part of more than 400 successful transactions, including single-family homes, condos, multifamily, commercial properties, land, relocations, and investment opportunities. Recognized as a consistent top producer, I’ve earned multiple honors over the years.

Education has always been an important part of my journey. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus in Organizational Management and a minor, along with a degree in Interior Design. This background gives me an edge in helping clients see the potential in properties, whether staging for sale or envisioning a future home. In addition, I earned my Broker’s license in 2023, further strengthening my ability to serve clients at the highest level.

My approach is simple: I want to be your go-to real estate resource for life — not just one transaction. I focus on taking the stress out of the process by connecting clients with trusted contractors, movers, cleaners, and other professionals, ensuring every detail is handled with care.

 

Aaron, my husband, has held his real estate license for seven years and brings over 20 years of sales expertise. After years of assisting me behind the scenes, he has officially joined me in the business, allowing us to provide even more value to our clients across Rice County, Steele County, the Twin Cities metro, and beyond.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me coaching volleyball, cheering on our kids in their activities, or enjoying life on our little country acreage.
